Lexi Boeger (Pluckyfluff)
Lexi Boeger, the creator of Pluckyfluff, is the pioneer of a new genre of yarn making that has re-defined the craft of hand-spinning. Treating spinning fiber as a medium for artistic expression Boeger has challenged the static confines that have dominated this traditional craft for generations. Hand-spinning is one of the few remaining craft fields that has not bridged the craft/art gap in a significant way. Lexi Boeger seeks to blur this line by producing work who's roots are deeply embedded in the traditions of the craft yet who's final manifestation is an art form in and of itself.
